Dr. Paul King specializes in communication and social cognition and has an extensive list of research publications in top journals such as Communication Monographs, HCR, and Communication Education. Trained in compliance with the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code, Dr. King works in dispute mediation both on and off campus. He offers courses in communication ethics, debate, human information processing (listening), and communication research and has received several teaching awards. Dr. King is a longtime member of the International Communication Association, the National Communication Association, the Southern States Communication Association, and Pi Kappa Delta. Dr. King is an avid hiker, climber, and fly fisherman during the summers.
