Libby Spears has been teaching in the college classroom for the last twelve years. She also has a consulting company, Bravo CC that provides public speaking workshops and other communication related workshops and coaching to help professionals improve their communication skills. In the classroom, Professor Spears has taught a variety of courses including public speaking, interpersonal communication, organizational communication, small group communication, intercultural communication and others. In her work she hopes to merge the academic research from her peers with the practical everyday situations that complicate our communiation and our relationships. The end result is not just learning terms, concepts, theories etc but the ability to utilize and apply this information.

Libby is a graduate of Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas. She is in the midst of completing her PhD work at the University of North Texas. She has been married for nine years and has two daughters, Madeline and Trinity.
